A Long History of Customer Satisfaction

It just made sense for Jamie St Clair Davis to open a salon and barber shop in Belle Vernon--after all, Belle Vernon is where she was born and raised. Lucky for all of us who have experienced her hair cutting and styling ability, she took the leap in 1998 and attended Pittsburgh Beauty Academy where she discovered a lifelong passion for instilling women with confidence through beauty.

In February of 2012, with 15 years of experience under her sheers, Jamie fulfilled her dream of opening her own salon, Salon Eye Candy, on Broad Avenue in Belle Vernon. Buoyed by its success, Jamie eventually felt it was time to expand beyond the traditional salon and cater to a vastly different market, so Dapper opened its doors across the street in August 2016. Despite her obvious success and entrepreneurship in the hair care industry, Jamie St. Clair Davis is most proud of her accomplishments as a wife and mother.

Andres Gotierrez

Andres, who has been cutting hair for 15 years, has personally experienced every stage of trending styles over the years that historically keep repeating including popular fades, comb overs, flat tops and intricate beard work. For those men not sporting

the ever-popular beard-look, Andres thinks that there's nothing

better than a nice clean smooth razor shave. Once you have

the opportunity to meet and work with Andres, you'll quickly

learn that he takes his craft very seriously and pays strict

attention to every detail.

Though he spent his early years in Garfield, Andres spent the majority of his later childhood split between Puerto Rico and Hampton, Virginia. Although barbering has always been his calling and the realization of a lifetime dream, Andres is a father and family man above all else. In his downtime, you might be able to talk him into playing a game of chess or a variety of sports.

Why not take some time to meet Andres, experience his skills firsthand, and check out Dapper?

Who We Are & What We Do

Whether you’re looking for a simple cut or something modern and dramatic or even a much-needed massage to help you unwind at the end of a crazy work week, we’re committed to giving you and your hair the attention it deserves. Stop by today and see how Dapper can create the new you!

Laura Krajzel

Dapper's very talented Laura was born and raised in the heart of Belle Vernon. For the past 6 years, Laura has been an integral part of the beauty industry. In that time, she has earned extensive training in both men's and women's styles and cuts, hair color, and up-styling. Laura's highest priorities are remaining current with the latest trends and making each client leave satisfied. Because she also believes that good customer relations should be the focus of any business, she loves nothing more than to see her clients smile as she spins them around to see their new hair style or cut.

When this hard worker is not meticulously taking care of her clients and keeping her space neat and organized, Laura enjoys spending time with her furry kids, a dog and a cat who never fail to make her smile. Stop by Dapper, so you, too, can be graced by  Laura's beautiful smile and receive a rockstar hair cut!
